Project Manager – Audio Visual / Video Conferencing (AV/VC) Delivery & Catalogue Development (EL1) Location: ACT Contract: 18 months | Full-time (40 hrs/week) Security Clearance: Must hold or be able to obtain NV1 Overview A large federal government agency is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing (AV/VC) solutions within a major capital works program. This pivotal role oversees the full lifecycle of AV/VC delivery—from procurement and design finalisation through to construction, installation, commissioning, testing, and operational handover. In addition, the Project Manager will drive the creation of an enterprise-wide AV/VC Room Catalogue , establishing standardised room types, validated configurations, and Bills of Materials to support consistent, scalable deployment across future workplace projects. Working under broad direction, you will collaborate across multiple internal divisions and project partners to deliver secure, modern collaboration technology that supports the agency’s workplace transformation objectives. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end delivery of the AV/VC stream within a major capital works project, ensuring all phases meet scope, quality, budget, schedule, and safety requirements. Lead the development of an organisation-wide AV/VC Room Catalogue, including standardised room types, BOMs, deployment guidelines, and support frameworks. Embed lessons learned and technical assurance from the capital works project into the catalogue for future use. Work closely with technical teams, suppliers, and project partners to ensure cohesive and timely delivery. Review technical documentation including AV/VC system schematics, electrical/communications designs, and network requirements. Coordinate testing, commissioning, user acceptance, and transition to operational support. Oversee procurement activities: tender processes, evaluation, contract engagement, and commercial negotiations. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, costings, business cases, risk registers, governance artefacts, and change control. Required Qualifications & Skills Demonstrated experience managing ICT-enabled or AV/VC delivery projects in construction, fit-out, enterprise, or government environments. Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and vendors effectively. Strong proficiency in developing and maintaining detailed project documentation. Ability to interpret technical drawings, system schematics, and electrical/communications documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Current or previously held AVIXA CTS certification. Solid understanding of AV/VC integration with building services (PoE++, HVAC, structured cabling, network architecture, cybersecurity). Knowledge of AV control system programming principles and associated intellectual property considerations. Experience with government procurement, tendering, and contract management processes. Eligibility/willingness to obtain NV1 security clearance . Preferred Qualifications Diploma-level qualifications in Project Management. Experience delivering AV/VC systems integrated with building services (power, structured cabling, HVAC, PoE++). Experience developing technology standards, catalogues, deployment frameworks, or reusable templates. Vendor/manufacturer certifications or strong relationships with suppliers such as Crestron, Extron, Poly, Think Logical, Siemon, or Systimax. Experience working within large APS or enterprise environments with structured governance and audit frameworks. Additional Requirements Must hold or be able to obtain NV1 clearance. Onsite presence required full-time for the first 6 weeks at the ACT site. Hybrid working arrangement thereafter (typically 3 days onsite). #J-18808-Ljbffr
