ABOUT THE ROLE: Casual Position (Full-time hours available during the Christmas period) Must have experience in driving both manual/automatic cars Pay rate at Security Service industry awardLevel 1 Previous experience in security is highly desirable. Wilson Security is expanding in the VIC, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region. This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients. These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and patrol designated areas within the airport to ensure safety and security of staff, passengers, and property. Perform access control duties, including ID and boarding pass verification, screening, and bag checks. Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activity, following established protocols. Operate security equipment such as CCTV, radios, and screening devices. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers, staff, and visitors with inquiries while maintaining a professional security presence. Enforce airport and aviation security regulations and relevant legislation. Conduct regular reporting and accurate incident documentation. Work collaboratively with airport authorities, emergency services, and fellow security team members. Maintain high standards of professionalism, punctuality, and presentation at all times. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Australian Citizen or Full working rights in Australia Must have experience in driving both manual/automatic cars Valid Victorian Security licence and First Aid Certificate Current valid Victorian Full Driver’s license (Have your own transport) Proven experience in the security industry Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage professionally with staff, passengers, and stakeholders Strong verbal and written communication skills Advanced computer literacy and the ability to use a security and access control system Wilson Security is an employer of choice, engaging with our people both online and in person.
