About The Role This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned turf maintenance technician to oversee the care of numerous sports fields for cricket, soccer and rugby. The role ensures the fields remain pristine year‑round, supporting student life and sporting excellence. Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating and topdressing to uphold lawn and turf quality. Monitor turf health and proactively address pests, diseases and compaction through cultural and chemical practices. Execute seasonal turf renovation and recovery programmes. Implement sustainable management practices, including water‑conservation strategies and pest‑management techniques. Operate and maintain specialised equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with other teams to coordinate schedules, prioritise tasks and deliver exceptional results. About You You have successfully completed a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management and have recent experience in turf management or greenkeeping. You seek a change and would relish responsible maintenance across a prestigious site. You possess strong knowledge of grass species, growth habits and maintenance requirements, and are familiar with all turf equipment, including mowers, aerators and sprayers. You hold a valid driver’s licence, a white card and a Working with Children Check (or are willing to obtain). Exposure to cricket wickets will be highly regarded. With a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic and a commitment to highest standards, you are ready to partner with our client and exceed expectations.
