About the Role We're seeking a passionate and self-motivated Trade Sales Development Manager to take ownership of a key territory in and around Metro Brisbane, spanning from south of the Brisbane River to the Logan Motorway, west of Redbank Plains and east of the Pacific Highway. This field-based role is ideally suited to candidates residing in Brisbane South and offers the opportunity to connect with a diverse customer base spanning trade, commercial, agricultural, and industrial sectors. You will be responsible for building strong local relationships, driving sales growth, and expanding Penrite's presence in this vibrant and evolving region - backed by a highly respected Australian brand and a supportive national sales team. Reporting directly to the Trade Sales Manager, this role is perfect for a results-driven professional who excels working independently and developing business opportunities in a dynamic market like Brisbane. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to trade and commercial customers Build and maintain strong long‑term relationships across your territory Proactively identify new business opportunities through fieldwork and local knowledge Attend trade events, expos, and regional customer meetings to promote Penrite products Provide timely reporting on territory performance and customer feedback Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent service and supply What We're Looking For 5+ years' experience in territory sales (automotive or trade-related preferred) Prior tenure with a major oil brand or a reseller / distributor of a major oil and lubricant company Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and grow market share Strong communication and relationship‑building skills Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously across a wide rural area Full Australian work rights and current driver's licence Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary ($110k + super + bonus + car) Fully maintained company vehicle Performance-based bonus incentives Ongoing training and career development Supportive and inclusive company culture How to Apply If you're a driven sales professional who thrives on connecting with customers and wants to represent a trusted Australian brand, we'd love to hear from you.
