Overview Protech is hiring casual workers to support mechanical and structural works at a newly established precast concrete yard in Waterloo Corner & the Superway yard, manufacturing tunnel segments for a major infrastructure project. This is a long-term opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment alongside experienced teams, contributing to a once-in-a-generation build. Role types General Hands Crane Operators Leading Hands Store persons Cleaners Production Operators Precast Labourers Key Responsibilities Assist in the production of precast concrete tunnel segments Prepare, clean, and set up moulds Pour, strip, and finish concrete Operate hand and power tools Perform basic patching and reinforcement placement Manual handling of materials General yard duties including cleaning and maintenance Follow WHS procedures and site safety protocols What We’re Looking For White Card (Construction Induction) – essential Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks Reliable and safety-conscious Ability to work in a team and follow instructions Forklift licence – desirable but not essential Experience in construction, concreting, or manufacturing highly regarded What’s in it for you?
