About the opportunity The ESG Analyst will play a key role in supporting Steadfast’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy with a strong focus on regulatory reporting and disclosures. This role will leverage financial and analytical expertise to assess climate and ESG‑related risks and opportunities, support integration of ESG considerations into business processes and ensure alignment with evolving reporting standards. Responsibilities Complete control boundary and materiality assessments. Assist in the collection, verification and analysis of consumption data for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions calculations from subsidiaries and Group. Analyse and interpret ESG‑related data to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Support the development, implementation and monitoring of the company’s ESG strategy and initiatives. Implementation of Scope 3 emissions data collection for FY27 reporting. Lead the preparation of climate‑related financial disclosures (AASB S2 reporting) ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice. Partner with Finance and Risk teams to assess the financial implications of ESG‑related risks including climate change. Skills and Knowledge A minimum 4 years relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Sustainability, Environmental Science or a related discipline. Strong financial and analytical background with the ability to model and interpret complex data. Experience in ESG sustainability or climate risk reporting, preferably within financial services, insurance or a related sector. Familiarity with ESG reporting standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports for senior stakeholders. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
