Play a vital role in maintaining the functionality and safety of our open drainage systems. This hands on position involves operating medium sized plant equipment, primarily excavators, to carry out essential maintenance and remediation tasks. Your key responsibilities will include: Operating a range of medium sized plant machinery, with a primary focus on an 8 tonne excavator Switching between plant items such as skid steers and excavators depending on task requirements Using specialised attachments (e.g., flail mowers) for vegetation control and site clearing Performing daily pre-start inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational Reporting machinery defects, safety hazards, and project-related concerns promptly Adapting to varied operational tasks while upholding strict safety and maintenance standards Click here for Position Description About you You're a confident, independent operator who thrives both autonomously and as part of a team.
