Overview We are looking for a motivated Casual Kitchen Attendant to join the PLG team at the Peninsula Club in Dromana. You'll support the team to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. No better place to start Located on Gibson Street, just one street back from the Dromana Pier, the Peninsula Club operates seven days a week from 9am. With an expanded TAB, outdoor decks, two bars and great staff, the Peninsula Club offers the ideal location for lunch with friends or family. Responsibilities Assist with basic food preparation tasks and ensure ingredients are organised and ready. Provide support to chefs and kitchen staff, contributing to a seamless kitchen operation. Monitor supplies in accordance with food volume and menu requirements. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the workstation. The role you are applying for may be quite fast-paced and require you to complete tasks including but not limited to lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods of time, and utilising stairs. Requirements Food Handlers Certificate. Knowledge of basic food preparation methods. Experience working in a pub/bistro fast-paced environment. Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
