About the Role Step into the heart of the Barossa Valley at St Hugo Brand Home and help us deliver a world-class dining experience. As Assistant Restaurant Manager , you’ll lead day-to-day operations, inspire a talented team, and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional visit. You’ll also play a key role in hosting VIP guests, planning premium events, and collaborating across the Brand Home precinct to create seamless experiences. What You’ll Do Lead Operations: Oversee daily restaurant service, manage bookings (Sevenrooms), and maintain inventory. Develop the Team: Train and mentor Front of House staff, deliver wine education, and support onboarding. Create Memorable Experiences: Host VIP guests, advise on wine pairings, and uphold St Hugo’s premium standards. Drive Engagement: Supervise tastings, promote wine sales, and upsell memberships. Event Support: Assist in planning and delivering premium events with precision. What You’ll Bring Proven leadership experience in hospitality or wine-focused environments. Passion for wine and exceptional customer service. WSET Level 2 (or equivalent), RSA & Liquor Licensing certification. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting. Desirable: Hospitality certification, First Aid, Fire Warden, Responsible Person badge. Why Join Us?
