Incinerator Operator

Incinerator Operator $32.49 per hour plus Overtime (when available) and applicable penalties Night shift 10PM – 6AM Laverton VIC location The Opportunity Based at our Laverton VIC site, we are seeking a new team member to join our site operations team. Your day‑to‑day tasks will include general warehouse duties, moving full / empty waste bins around site, assisting with loading / unloading trucks and learning how to operate the incinerator – with further opportunities to become a full‑time incinerator operator in the future. About you To be successful in this role, you will have the following : Availability for night shift commencing at 10PM or 6AM in Laverton Open to completing some overtime when required (must be available weekends) Forklift licence (desirable) The ability to work as part of a team, but also independently Physically fit and be adept in handling waste from medical facilities Great communication skills with good attention to detail Willingness to take a Pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol test Willingness to undertake a National Police Criminal History Check We are seeking someone who can display a superior commitment to safety and will represent the Cleanaway Daniels brand with pride. This role is an opportunity for the suitable candidate to be upskilled and cross‑trained within the business. Due to the nature of this work, evidence of currency of vaccination or the willingness to receive defined vaccinations is essential. This will include Tetanus and Hepatitis A & B.
