About the Role You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate electrical estimates across: High‑end architectural homes Residential renovations and additions CCTV & security Solar, battery, EV Light commercial projects General residential electrical work You’ll liaise with builders, architects, clients, and internal teams to ensure scopes are accurate and GP margins are maintained. This role is critical to supporting our operational efficiency and the premium standard our brand is known for. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates, tenders, and variations. Interpret architectural and electrical drawings and specifications. Liaise with suppliers, builders, architects, homeowners and internal teams. Complete detailed take‑offs using SimPro, Groundplan and Google Sheets. Maintain pricing databases and improve estimating systems. Manage multiple quotes and deadlines efficiently. Identify project risks and provide recommendations for mitigation. About You Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator (2–3 + years preferred). Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, OR strong electrical estimating experience, OR a licensed electrician transitioning to estimating/engineering. Solid understanding of AS/NZS 3000 and Australian electrical standards. Numerically strong and analytically minded. Confident reading drawings, performing take‑offs and identifying scope gaps. Proficient with SimPro, Groundplan and Google Sheets. Highly accurate, organised and commercially aware. Exceptional attention to detail – you do not rush decisions and you follow structured checklists and processes without becoming complacent. Strong communicator who can work professionally with builders, architects and internal teams. Takes pride in their work and brings a positive, proactive attitude.
