Driver / Labourer Location: Sutherland Shire, New South Wales Employment type: Full-time, Permanent Position Overview The Driver/Labourer plays a vital role in the Civil Works and Presentation Division, responsible for executing planned construction and maintenance works on civil assets. This permanent full‑time role involves operating heavy vehicles and performing labouring tasks under the supervision of Construction and Maintenance Forepersons. In this role you will ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with safety standards and operational requirements, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Responsibilities Operate plant and drive heavy vehicles safely and efficiently. Perform various labouring duties as directed by forepersons. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards. Work collaboratively within a team to achieve operational goals. Qualifications Essential: Class MR Licence, Construction Induction Card (White Card), Load Shifting Plant Operator competency. Previous experience as a truck driver (minimum Class MR). Desirable: Experience operating a Grader and/or a Class HR Licence. Experience with crane track (HIAB) operations and familiarity with the construction industry. Benefits and Package Package: From $66,750 gross per annum plus 12% superannuation. Hours of work: Full-time permanent role, 38 hours per week with a 9‑day fortnight.
