Manager Land Services Agriculture Department: NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development Location & Working Hours Armidale, Tenterfield, Inverell, or Glen Innes 38 hours per week – Ongoing full time Advisory & Technical Grade 8 | Salary from $149,739.00 plus super and leave loading About the Role Northern Tablelands Local Land Services (LLS) offers a leadership position for an individual to drive an inclusive, collaborative culture and achieve success across staff and the broader LLS business. The Manager Agriculture Service will lead a team providing services in Animal Biosecurity & Welfare, Sustainable Agriculture & Plant Biosecurity, and Invasive Species management. You will support our people in ensuring high standards of communication, collaboration, performance, program and project delivery, planning, and budget management, and support the implementation of the Local Strategic Plan. Responsibilities Lead the Agriculture Service team and manage people, programs, and projects within agriculture, environment and rural NSW. Influence across all levels of the business, provide high quality communication, collaboration between teams, performance management, program and project delivery, planning and budget management. Qualifications Degree in Agricultural, Environmental, Natural Resource Management, Business, Biosecurity, Emergency Management or related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience Proven leadership and business skills with experience in influencing across all levels of an organization Experience managing people, programs and projects in the context of agriculture, environment and regional NSW Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inspire direction and purpose Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel About Us DPIRD is dedicated to growing primary industries and supporting regional economic development in NSW.
