Assessment Scheduling Specialist Swinburne University of Technology – Hawthorn Campus About the Role The Assessment Scheduling Specialist works closely with school stakeholders and professional departments to coordinate all assessment activities, ensuring that examinations, special (SPX) and Last to Complete assessments, Equitable Assessment Arrangements (EAA) and Alternative Assessment Arrangements (AAA) are delivered efficiently across the University. Responsibilities also include supporting broader operational needs such as developing academic timetables and assisting with event planning related to exam scheduling. Job Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Project Management and Information Technology Industry: Higher Education Key Accountabilities Work autonomously and as part of a team, meeting deadlines under pressure. Communicate effectively in person and in writing with academic, management and administrative staff, including preparing clear reports. Maintain a positive, proactive and energetic manner when dealing with high‑pressure situations. Demonstrate experience with Syllabus Plus, Exam Scheduler, Student One or similar applications, and high‑level proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and databases. Qualifications A degree without subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in a related field.
