Now, we’re transforming our in Beta web app into the most-downloaded mobile app for property - giving buyers unprecedented access to real estate data, campaign history, and collaboration tools. The Role We’re looking for a Lead React + React Native Developer to take ownership of our entire front-end ecosystem; from our React web app to our React Native mobile app, and help scale the engineering team around you. You’ll be working hand-in-hand with our Lead Infrastructure Engineer (who ensures everything runs at scale, securely and fast) and our UX/UI Designer (who brings to life pixel-perfect, buyer-first designs). Together, you’ll ship products millions of Australians will use. You will: Lead the mobile app build from the ground up. Drive feature development and enhancements for our web platform. Collaborate closely with design and infrastructure to deliver seamless, high-performance experiences. Set technical standards, mentor, and hire the right people to grow the front-end team. This is your chance to own the front-end strategy, deliver market-defining products, and shape the culture of a scaling proptech startup. Key Responsibilities Architect, develop, and maintain front-end applications in React and React Native. Integrate seamlessly with our PostgreSQL backend and existing APIs. Implement robust integration and unit testing (Jest, Playwright, etc). Collaborate with the UX/UI Designer to implement mobile and web designs. Work with the Infrastructure Lead to ensure performance, scalability, and security. Implement CI/CD pipelines via github actions. Mentor junior developers and participate in recruitment. Champion best practices for performance, accessibility, and maintainability. What You’ll Bring Must-haves: Proven production experience in React and React Native. Experience with PostgreSQL and API integration. Solid background in testing (Jest, integration testing). Git proficiency and agile workflow experience. Familiarity with Next.js. Familiarity with Stripe integration Backends FastAPI, Expressjs, Flask or anything similar Experience with Docker Nice-to-haves: Experience with GCP or anything similar. CI/CD for mobile and web. Interest in proptech or data-driven platforms. Expo/EAS is a plus Why Join Us? Lead the front-end strategy for an emerging market leader.
