Biosis Australia is growing, and we’d love you to be part of it We’re excited to welcome a new Graduate Heritage Consultant to join our team on a 12-month contract, with strong potential to transition into a permanent role at our Port Melbourne office. This is an entry level role for an ambitious individual eager to accelerate their career in heritage. You will work alongside experienced and highly knowledgeable colleagues who will guide and support you. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor (Honours) or Master’s degree in Archaeology, and an interest in either Aboriginal or historical archaeology. The role requires adaptability to diverse projects and locations. Flexibility and a willingness to travel are key to thriving in this position. To be successful in this role, you will need: An archaeology degree (Honours), or a Masters in Archaeology or similar. Demonstrated interest in Aboriginal and /or historical heritage. Relevant work experience in Aboriginal and/or historical heritage (preferred but not essential). Experience in Aboriginal artefact analysis (preferred but not essential). Ability to work on site, away from home and in remote locations, if necessary. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A current and valid driver’s licence. You must have the right to work in Australia to apply for this job.
