In this valued role, you’ll work closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and regional teams across Bathurst, Grafton and Walcha to provide thoughtful financial insights, analysis and guidance. Your work will help shape informed decisions that support the sustainable performance of Forestry Corporation’s softwood operations. You’ll take a hands‑on role in month‑end analysis, budgeting and forecasting, helping translate complex financial data into meaningful insights. A key part of your work will be supporting the Division with accurate and timely reporting, while finding opportunities to improve the clarity and usefulness of management information. You’ll collaborate closely with Corporate Finance to ensure consistent reporting standards, identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, and help strengthen financial understanding across the business. Building strong, trusted relationships with colleagues will be central to your success, as you work together to deliver high‑quality financial outcomes for Forestry Corporation’s Softwood Division. About you You’re a motivated and organised finance professional who values teamwork and accuracy. You enjoy using your analytical skills to help others make well‑informed decisions, and you bring a calm, thoughtful approach to problem‑solving. You’ll also have: A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business, and CPA/CA membership (or working towards it). Experience in management accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail. The ability to explain financial information in a clear and supportive way. A genuine interest in improving processes and finding better ways of working together.
