Overview Join to apply for the Advanced Trainee Emergency role at Epworth . In this minimum 6 month term, based in Melbourne you will be responsible for assessing and treating presentations to the emergency department under supervision from senior doctors. Responsibilities Independently assessing and managing multiple patients under supervision of seniors Independently prioritising a set of decisions/tasks/referrals for multiple patients To be successful in this role Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with patients and colleagues Ability to lead by being a positive role model to junior staff Able to direct immediate and future learning, informed with reflective practice and role model influences Ability to take responsibility for self-directed learning and participating in departmental teaching to further clinical knowledge and skills Actively teach junior staff the clinical skills expected of a novice clinician You will have General registration with APHRA Valid ACLS/APLS certificates TS3/4 trainee with ACEM Requirements We will review applications as we receive them.
