IT Mainframe Environment Build Specialist Location: Canberra, Melbourne CBD, or Sydney CBD. Salary: A$150,000.00–A$170,000.00. We are seeking an IT Mainframe Environment Build Specialist to join our Enterprise Solutions and Technology business area. As an IT Mainframe Environment Build Specialist, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver detailed, technical, or sensitive projects that impact strategic or operational outcomes. You’ll provide advice to technical specialists and business partners, and seek their cooperation in the provision and support of mainframe environments, package and promote preparation, problem solving, and issues management. Provide mainframe package deployment support to development environments. Prepare mainframe promotions for production deployment. Proactively investigate and assist with environmental issues at the request of development teams. Provide expert mainframe technical advice as required. Provide on‑call support out of hours on occasion. Assist with project management, operational and business planning, financial year forward planning, and strategy planning by collaborating with business partners. Participate in modernisation, automation, and continuous improvement of existing services, ensuring the mainframe is ready for business at all advertised times.
