About the Role: We are welcoming applications for a Fruit & Veg Manager role at Tucker Fresh IGA on a full-time basis. You would be managing the Fruit & Veg Department, ensuring that maximum sales, profit and customer satisfaction are achieved through effective merchandising, pricing, inventory control and staff management. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Ensuring that staff deliver high quality service to all customers. Understanding and respond to customer requests and needs. Informing customers about specials, promotions and new items. Working safely in accordance with legislation and all supermarket safety policies and procedures. Skills & Experience Experience in managing a fruit & veg department. A commitment to food safety, hygiene, shop cleanliness, and workplace safety practices. Exceptional customer service skills with a demonstrated record of strong achievement in meeting customer needs. Competency of ordering, cost control, wage control, rostering and gross profit budgeting. Enthusiastic and approachable personality. Able to work under pressure.Organised with the ability to meet deadlines. Able to work autonomously or in a team.Passionate for food, creative and willing to share ideas.
