Op Shop Supervisor

RSPCA Qld are seeking dedicated Op Shop Supervisor for a permanent part-time role at our Mackay store In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, look after our incredible volunteers, and ensure our customers enjoy a welcoming and engaging shopping experience. As part of RSPCA's growing op shop network, you will contribute to achieving sales targets, driving community donations, and supporting our mission to change lives. If you’re ready to make an impact in your community, step in your retail career and be part of an exciting growth journey, we want to hear from you Represent the RSPCA Qld Op Shop team and brand through your passion for all things preloved and second-hand and encourage the same within your team to create a positive supportive store atmosphere. Work closely with the Op Shop Store Manager, to support the goals and mission of the RSPCA Qld. Maintain a high level of customer service. Train and support volunteers. Drive sales to achieve set targets. Oversee and review all goods for sale in the store. Direct and monitor the daily register opening & closing procedures. Manage and periodically review the shop’s pricing list. About you You'll be a great communicator with top-notch interpersonal skills. If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may also include: Confident in retail and must have demonstrated supervisor experience in a retail environment. Knowledge of fashion and clothing brands. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable performing physical tasks including manual handling, bending, kneeling, and reaching, to carry out essential merchandising duties and assisting customers. High level of organisational skills and attention to detail. Sound computer skills. Proven ability to work well under pressure. Ability to supervise & provide direction to a small team. Please note: We’re looking for someone who can commit to one weekend day each week plus weekday shifts. Why Join Us?
