Precontracts Engineer

Durack are looking for a highly driven and focused Precontracts Engineer. Our Engineers are committed to delivering quality results, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer or a Project Engineer currently within the Civil Construction industry who has an interest in developing their skills within the estimating space. This is a permanent role located at our Varsity Lakes office.

Qualifications & Capabilities RequiredBachelor of Civil Engineering with minimum 4 years experienceDrivers license and Construction White CardExperience in civil engineering or construction is essential, as is a professional attitude and strong work ethicTMR and RMS specification experience is highly regarded

Key ResponsibilitiesWorking within the estimating team, you will provide support to the Precontracts Manager in the development of tenders from infancyPricing strategies and non-price tender schedules.Support in preparation of staging plans, construction programs and methodologiesShowcases the ability to identify and communicate risks as well as providing contingency planning to mitigate.Analysis and review of project results
