Company Description Boutique law firm specialising in tax and related legal matters such as estate planning, succession and structuring. Our clients are typically successful private businesses, property-related enterprises, and wealthy families. We work closely with other advisors, in particular accountants, lawyers and property/financial advisors on mutual clients where we act as the specialist tax‑legal practitioner. Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Lawyer/Tax Advisor based in Sydney, NSW, with some work‑from‑home flexibility. We have a focus on proper mentoring so sufficient in‑person attendance (whether at client premises or in our Sydney CBD office, depending on firm and client needs) will be expected. The role involves providing expert tax and strategic advice, with related legal work. Typical tasks and responsibilities will include: Ensuring client compliance with tax laws Preparing tax‑related legal documentation Representing clients during tax audits or reviews Researching relevant tax practices and laws Drafting advices and presentations You will be expected to: Stay informed about changes in relevant law and practice Be committed to delivering high‑quality and timely services to clients Work collaboratively with our referrers and client teams Qualifications and Experience Any level of experience will be considered with remuneration and responsibilities to align with experience and skills Must have a law degree or be a Chartered Accountant who is undertaking or committed to complete a law degree Strong understanding of Tax or having a Law Degree is essential Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills an absolute must CTA will be favourable but not mandatory Previous experience in legal or tax advisory roles preferred, even as a trainee, cadet or intern All qualifications and experience must be verifiable and subject to our verification checks Seniority level : Entry level Employment type : Full‑time Job function : Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industry : Law Practice #J-18808-Ljbffr
