Arete Concrete is a leading high-rise commercial concrete contractor delivering premium structures, major deck pours, and mobile concrete pumping across Queensland. With a commitment to safety, precision, and high-performance results, we are continuing to grow our operational footprint and our capabilities—including our new flagship 50‑metre Zoomlion pump. We are seeking an experienced, driven, and organised Supervisor to lead our day‑to‑day delivery, workforce, and site performance. Role Overview The Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all operational aspects of Arete Concrete’s projects. This role ensures our crews, equipment, and resources are utilised efficiently and safely while maintaining our high standards of quality and client satisfaction. You will act as the central link between site teams, management, clients, and suppliers. Key Responsibilities Daily Operations & Scheduling Plan and schedule daily/weekly site works, labour, and equipment. Manage dispatch and utilisation of mobile concrete pumps (including 50m boom). Coordinate material deliveries, pump allocations, access, and site readiness. Ensure all pre‑starts, inductions, SWMS, and safety documentation are completed. Project & Site Management Oversee high‑rise commercial deck pours, columns, PT slabs, and structural works. Liaise with builders, engineers, and site managers to confirm program milestones. Conduct site visits to review progress, quality, and compliance. Resolve on‑site issues quickly with minimal impact to schedule or cost. Workforce Leadership Lead and develop crews, including pump operators, line hands, formworkers, and labourers. Conduct onboarding, training, and performance management. Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance every day. Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure SWMS, SOPs, and risk controls are implemented across all sites. Monitor site quality to prevent defects and re‑work. Maintain QBCC, WHS, and industry compliance. Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions. Client & Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationships with builders and contractors. Attend coordination meetings and resolve concerns proactively. Provide clear communication to clients regarding program, progress, and variations. Financial & Operational Performance Track project hours, costs, materials, and variations. Monitor productivity and implement efficiencies. Support invoicing, time sheets, and operational reporting. Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and growth planning. Skills & Experience Required 3+ years in an Operations, Site Manager, or Leading Hand role in commercial concrete. Strong understanding of high‑rise construction, concrete pumping, and structural pours. Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple sites and teams simultaneously. High‑level organisation, time management, and problem‑solving. Solid understanding of WHS, QBCC requirements, and construction compliance. Computer literacy (Procore, Aconex, MS Teams/Connect, logs, scheduling tools). What We Offer Competitive salary package + vehicle/allowances.
