Administration/Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking an experienced and organised Administration/Data Entry Clerk to join our team on Thursdays & Fridays at Northern Scales Service in Cairns, QLD 4870. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our office, which include assisting with general administrative duties and maintaining accurate financial records. What You'll Be Doing Assist with general administrative duties such as answering phones and responding to emails, directing queries to the appropriate team members Greet customers in a professional, friendly manner and assist with general enquiries Accurately input, update, and maintain data in the online accounting system Maintain accurate financial records, including bank reconciliations and payroll processing Handle accounts receivable queries, including payment follow-ups and reconciling invoices Assist with taxation and compliance requirements Ensure all record-keeping and documentation is well-organised and easily accessible What We're Looking For At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar administrative/data entry role, ideally within a small business or service-based industry Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work Strong communication and customer service skills An understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements for small businesses Demonstrated proficiency with Quickbooks (or similar accounting software) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills What We Offer At Northern Scales Service, we pride ourselves on creating a positive and supportive work environment for our team.
