Join ALPA (Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation) as a Travelling Supermarket Manager, supporting the operation of community supermarkets across remote locations in the Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. This mobile role has no fixed base, you'll travel between communities to provide relief management where needed. Just bring your luggage, we'll take care of the rest Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations of ALPA supermarkets in remote communities Train and mentor local team members ALPA's nutrition policy and promote healthy food choices Collaborate with merchandising, nutrition teams, and community stakeholders What You'll Bring Experience with retail systems (POS, stock control, staff management) Strong interpersonal skills across diverse cultures and languages Ability to adapt to remote (limited resources, supply chain issues, cultural sensitivities) Benefits Accommodation & utilities fully covered 7 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading 14% superannuation 2 return flights per year to Darwin or Cairns Mobile phone and streaming allowance Opportunity to make a real impact in First Nations communities About ALPA The Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation (ALPA) is Australia's largest First Nations corporation, employing over 1,400 people across 26 remote communities.
