We’re on the lookout for an experienced Café/Kitchen Assistant to sprinkle some magic You will be able to commit and have availability to work a range of shifts between 7:30am - 5:30pm, across Monday to Saturday. You love being part of a team and nourishing our little learners while they explore and have fun, building memorable moments in our Play Centre. Your New Adventure You’re the type of person who can turn a rainy day into a fun day You have a knack for sparking smiles and creating laughter, and you enjoy coming to work and being part of an awesome, fun and vibrant team. What You'll Be Up To Preparing and presenting café style food Barista skills to prepare and serve hot beverages Ensuring cleanliness hygiene and maintenance of the kitchen area Managing and ordering stock and supplies Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards All kitchen paperwork requirements Preparing platters for parties Teaming up with passionate colleagues to keep things running smoothly What We’re Looking For MUST have previous and recent Café and Barista Experience A current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain Hold a Food Safety Supervisor and Food Handling Certificate Previous experience working as a Canteen Manager at a school or busy sporting centres The right to work in Australia Ability to work as a team and independently A friendly face with great personal presentation Confidence with a smile to handle a busy environment Adaptable to deal with change at a moments notice A team player who’s ready to jump in and make a difference Perks of the Job Work in a fun, dynamic environment Be part of a team that loves what they do Coffee breaks surrounded by smiles, not spreadsheets What’s next?
