If you would like to help us build, this is your chance to make history. The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for the scaling and physical deployment of new data center infrastructure. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic trainee to join the growing team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a willingness to learn and upskill. The candidate must be able to perform repetitive tasks and adhere to standard processes and best practices. The successful candidate will work in a team environment and must be able to communicate and promote cross‑team functionality. This position has a physical component and may require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations. It is a 12‑month trainee opportunity with the option to convert to a full‑time position after successful completion of the program. Key Job Responsibilities Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center. Install and test copper and fiber optic cabling. Build and troubleshoot basic network devices. Create and attach labels and barcodes. Regularly lift 15 kg or move objects into position. Work regularly at heights and from ladders. Manage inventory of related materials. Follow defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures. Operate in noisy areas with temperatures hotter or colder than standard office conditions. Travel within the geographical work area; some travel outside the traditional work area may be requested. Key Job Requirements Climb step platform ladders or work from an EWP. Lift 15 kg regularly during the day. Demonstrate a fiber/copper background. Understand cabling procedures. A Day in the Life A normal day involves working inside a data center installing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and negotiating deadlines with program managers. You will run multiple projects simultaneously. As part of the traineeship, you will receive mentoring, coaching, and career‑development opportunities while working closely with AWS Network Engineering and Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure a fast, smooth rollout of new designs and products. Basic Qualifications 1‑2 years of experience providing technical support or customer service in an IT environment. Proficiency in troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and network issues. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience working with cloud‑based technologies and platforms, such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
