Occupational Therapist Jobs Southern Highlands NSW Location: Southern Highlands NSW Private Hospital & Community Role Full-time Flexible hours and caseload Competitive remuneration About the Role: Alpha is currently recruiting Occupational Therapists to join our Southern Highlands team. The role is community and hospital based with future growth opportunities to diversify your experience in private hospital, aged care and private settings. You will be providing occupational therapy services to clients in their homes and in a private hospital to improve their independence and quality of life. You will be working independently in the community and with a multidisciplinary team in the hospital setting. Duties and Responsibilities: Providing comprehensive home based assessments, modifications, equipment prescription, assistive technology prescription and/or therapeutic interventions to optimise client independence and quality of life. Providing occupational therapy services to in-patients at a private hospital, assisting with discharge planning and liasing with other allied health professionals and medical staff. Delivering a high quality of care and professionalism with each service. Producing comprehensive written reports and delivering them within required timeframes. Maintaining thorough client related documentation. Communicating and working collaboratively with other allied health professionals and referring partners to achieve the best results for our clients. Managing client and family feedback and taking corrective action to ensure services remain positive and responsive to client needs. About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to be a motivated, compassionate and highly organised Occupational Therapist with excellent verbal and written communication and problem solving skills. You will possess the drive to make a difference and be passionate about providing high quality occupational therapy services to older populations with an enthusiastic approach. You will have demonstrated skills and experience and the ability to work independently and under minimal external supervision. Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
