Overview We have multiple temporary vacancies available for Principal Engineers with experience in the following: Major Project: Supporting major project delivery from project planning and design through to construction, including Coomera Connector (Stage 1 and 2) and Exit 45 Delivery: Supporting three primary areas including Pre‑Construction, Construction and Preservation & Maintenance Technical Services: Supporting technical design review activities and asset management engineering Qualifications & Experience Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification accepted by Engineers Australia Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) Provide effective leadership to project managers delivering infrastructure projects Provide reports on the progress of works and actual and forecast expenditure Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the program of works you will be responsible for and determine changes to processes with a view to obtaining continuous improvements in efficiency, productivity and setting strategies Ensure performance management systems are in place and effective in supporting the delivery of the program of works and individual projects within the program Provide expert advice and guidance on contractual issues and contract performance Ensure the application of all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements necessary to support responsible decisions and quality of outcomes is maintained with respect to all phases of project delivery of road infrastructure projects on the works program Benefits A competitive remuneration package including employer superannuation contributions up to 12.75% Annual leave loading of 17.5% Salary packaging arrangements Learning and development opportunities Access to study assistance program Wellness Program Corporate discounts from a range of leading private health companies Employee Assistance Program Work/life balance, variety and flexibility Access to a centre of excellence of engineering and technical professionals to support research and innovation Applications to remain current for 12 months.
