Location: Sydney (Hybrid) Contract: 6–12 Months Day Rate: Up To $1000 A leading enterprise organisation is embarking on a major transformation programme to migrate core platforms from on‑premise infrastructure to the cloud. We’re seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the design, automation, and delivery of this high‑visibility migration initiative. Role Overview You will work across cloud engineering, infrastructure, security, and application teams to automate, streamline, and deliver a seamless migration. You’ll contribute to building scalable CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud‑native deployment patterns while helping uplift DevOps maturity across the programme. Key Responsibilities Support the end‑to‑end migration of legacy on‑prem systems to the cloud Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and environment provisioning. Collaborate with cloud architects on designing secure, scalable landing zones and migration pathways. Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and integration issues during migration cutovers. Monitor and optimise cloud performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Your Experience Proven experience in DevOps engineering within cloud migration projects. Strong background with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud platforms Solid experience with CI/CD tools Hands‑on experience with IaC tools (Terraform or Bicep). Experience with containers & orchestration Experience migrating monoliths, microservices, databases, or legacy systems to cloud environments.
