Overview Principal at Jon Michel Executive Search Senior Analyst, Corporate Finance – Iconic Infrastructure Asset My client is an iconic, sophisticated investor-backed infrastructure business with ambitious growth plans to cement itself as a global leader in its respective field. The business is positioned for growth and is seeking to expand its presence through strategic investments and value maximisation initiatives across its value chain. This is a two-year fixed-term contract role based in Sydney, with a strong possibility of permanency for the right candidate. Responsibilities Provide analytical, modelling and commercial expertise toward execution of high-priority strategic, investment and growth initiatives. Financial evaluation of initiatives through ground-up financial modelling and analysis. Build business/investment cases to assess financial impact and identify optimal solutions. Conduct due diligence, including review and preparation of legal/transaction documentation on capital projects and other major developments. Financial evaluation of the firm’s exiting portfolio of investments, projects and developments. Engage with stakeholders; prepare and present quality board papers and investment packs to Shareholders and the Executive Leadership Team. Qualifications & Experience You will bring approximately 3–5 years' experience from investment banking, Big 4 Transaction Advisory/Financial Modelling, or corporate finance within a high-performing organisation. Infrastructure or capital-intensive sector experience is advantageous but not essential. Strong technical financial modelling and valuation capabilities, commercial acumen, and a genuine desire to drive impact in a dynamic, growing business are required. Confidence and the ability to partner with and present to senior stakeholders are important. Applicants must have full working rights in place for Australia to be considered for this role.
