About us Australian owned and operated, Bonney Energy is located in Tasmania and Victoria and is a premier distributor of Ampol trusted fuel and lubricant products. The company's head office is located in Quoiba near Devonport, on the North West Coast of Tasmania. Our Victorian operation consists of fleet based in Metro Melbourne with several other depots located across the state. About the role Reporting to the Site Manager and Retail Manager, this role requires a proactive hands‑on approach. We are seeking a Site Assistant Manager who is passionate about motivating and inspiring others, highly organised, enthusiastic with a dedicated work ethic to lead by example. This role involves merchandising and stock rotation, where you must be physically capable of lifting heavy items using safe manual handling techniques and can be on your feet for extended periods of time. Responsibilities Operating the console (POS) Customer Service Store administration including daily reports, cash handling, balancing, banking and reconciliation Fuel monitoring, dips and meter readings Stocktaking Employee training and mentoring Ensuring that all operations of the store are running smoothly Liaising with suppliers and the Corporate Services Team Driving profitability and minimising costs, expenses and waste Assisting in the organisation of employee rosters About you 1 year experience in a similar level role Food safety certificate (or willing to obtain) First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain) Ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines Intermediate level computer skills in the Microsoft Office packages A strong, team based work ethic What's in it for me?
