Team, reporting through to the Costings Manager.Key responsibilities include:Using existing database to analyse individual parts, assembly process to determine product cost during design stage, including database maintenance, make sure commodity price, labour cost update on time in cost model.Advise and improve the cost model on templates, calculation formula to increase internal should cost accuracy.Supplier sourcing on new technology, new process in different locations, and meet project requirement on quality, cost and timing.Reporting to direct manager and project team about cost comparison between suppliers and products.Utilize Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) methods to ensure accurate product costing in early stage of product development, supporting project team to launch mass production on time.Reducing product cost through design and process improvements by using Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) techniques, in corporation with project development teams.We’re Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field.Minimum of 5 years in engineering or manufacturing company, exposed to practice DFMA process.Minimum of 3 years in purchasing, sourcing, commodity management, or Supply Chain/logistics.Experience of working with Chinese manufactures, including engineering, material (plastics, metal), electronics, sourcing proprietary components, and production.Strong written and spoken communication skills in English, Mandarin, or Spanish.What we offer you:Competitive compensation packageA fun and rewarding team environmentOpportunity to work for an Australian Stock Exchange listed companyEmployee assistance programPaid parental leave policyEmployee discounts of up to 50% on all our electrical productsCorporate health andwellness benefitsTo ApplyCome and make your mark with this global leader by applying today via the Apply Now button.Breville Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
