Certificate III in Landscape Construction – 5 Apprenticeships Australian Training Company – Sydney CBD NSW Sydney - Various Locations - 4 Year apprenticeship on the job including 3 years at TAFE Requirements: White card, Drivers Licence and own transport Training and Skills: carpentry, stonemasonry, fencing, bricklaying, decks, pergolas, engineering, tiling, irrigation, horticulture and more on residential and commercial premises including child care centres, parks and high end homes Duties : Retaining walls, stone work, lighting, pool areas, paving, planting, fencing and many other building related tasks No experience required: All training is completed on the job including TAFE 1 day per week, a paid work day and no fees Full time positions with great career path, start asap. Ryde: Learn some high level skills in this trade working on high end properties with lots of variation in garden renovation. Be trained to build retaining walls, paving, pergolas, stonemasonry and lots of other duties related to building new gardens in residential premises. Skills you will learn include engineering, carpentry, bricklaying, fencing, concreting, planting and lighting. Most work is in Ryde, Hunters Hill and Hills district. Lower North Shore/Inner West: Learn this trade with an organization working on landscape architecture and construction design on high end residential properties. Work includes construction and renovation of swimming pools, pergolas and all other aspects of this trade. Be trained to build retaining walls, paving, pergolas, stonemasonry other duties. Locations include inner west, lower north shore and eastern suburbs. Sydney Metro: A large commercial landscaping company is looking to expand their team. Most work is building new and renovation of landscaping areas in child care centres, parks, schools and high rise residential. Location is metro Sydney including Concord, inner west, lower north shore, western Sydney and north west. Duties include, garden renovation, new landscaping, planting, retaining walls, paving, pergolas, fencing, stonemasonry and lots of other duties related to building and renovation of new gardens. Hills District: A large commercial landscaping company is looking to expand their workforce with another 2 apprentices. This also has a civil construction aspect to the skills and will be trained in the use of earthmoving equipment including skidsteers, excavators and obtain relevant tickets. Work is mostly on commercial premises and in high rise buildings, child care centres, parks and schools. Location is metro Sydney. Sydney Metro: A large commercial landscaping company with projects including Parramatta Square, Catherine Park sporting fields, Barangaroo and Crown Casino are looking for an apprentice. Host will pay for training in various earth moving equipment including excavators, back hoes and skidsteers. Will obtain relevant tickets. Great career path for the right person. Landscape Construction Apprenticeships are on the Australian Apprenticeship Priority List.
