Events Facilities and Bookings Support Officer Salary: $73,089.64 per annum pro rataClosing: Friday 28 November 2025Part Time (35hrs p/w) - Permanent Join Our Major Events Team We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to support our vibrant Major Events team. This role provides high‑quality customer service, booking advice and general administration across a diverse range of venues, including the Shepparton Showgrounds, Tatura Park Equestrian and Events Centre, and Victoria Park Lake event spaces. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service and information to current and prospective clients and the community regarding Council’s event venues. Manage the booking system for event venues, liaising with hirers about venue availability, fees, charges, hire terms and conditions, and coordinating additional services such as Town Entry Signage and Banner Flag Program. Prepare and distribute booking documentation such as Hire Agreements, Event Confirmations and financial paperwork. Qualifications Proven experience in a general administrative role. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively. High‑level proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and a willingness to learn new software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering quality services. Experience in bookings and events is highly desirable, but we welcome applicants passionate about community engagement with strong organisational and communication skills.
