About Anason Perched on the Barangaroo waterfront, Anason is a modern Turkish meyhane — lively, generous, and full of heart. Opened in 2016, Anason brings the spirit of Istanbul’s Bosphorus to Sydney where the guest experience sits at the centre of everything we do. Our menu celebrates the flavours of the Meyhanes in Bosphorus through seasonal and local produce, designed for sharing and connection. Our team is dynamic, solutions-focused, and adaptable — always striving to deliver a seamless experience through teamwork, clear communication, and genuine warmth. The Role As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our front-of-house team and shaping the guest experience. You’ll support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing service operations, developing the team, and ensuring each guest leaves feeling welcomed and cared for. From training and team development to service flow and guest engagement, this is an opportunity to help guide one of Sydney’s most loved waterfront restaurants. We’re looking for someone who: Has previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a premium or high-volume restaurant Brings exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrates strong organisational skills and attention to detail Leads with humility and professionalism, even in high-pressure environments Is passionate about training, coaching, and developing others Thrives on genuine connection with guests and colleagues alike Holds a current RSA certificate The Reward We believe great hospitality begins with our people; when you grow, we grow.
