About The Role As an Optical Dispenser, you will be responsible for providing clinical, sales and customer service assistance in all aspects of eye care. You will work closely with Optometrists, assist patients with the selection of their frames, interpret optical prescriptions, provide excellent customer service and handle general practice administration duties to ensure the very best patient experience. This is a full‑time role based at our Brookvale Eyecare Centre. You will also provide relief at other Eyecare Centres around Sydney and work an 11‑day fortnight. Our centres are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The role is ideal for someone who has completed a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing and is passionate about eyewear fashion and enjoys working in a busy environment. Responsibilities Interpret optical prescriptions. Provide personalised fashion and practical advice to assist customers in selecting frames and lenses. Manage patient care. Assist with reception duties when required. Keep patient records up to date. About You Experience working in an optical clinic. Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing qualification. Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment. A passion for fashion and optometry. A positive attitude and proactive approach to work.
