Closely supporting the Purchasing Manager, this role supports and strengthens Max Stocks’ relationships with our suppliers and customers by ensuring our stock management database is accurately and efficiently maintained and stock levels are monitored. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their career in purchasing, with potential for advancement to a Senior Purchasing role for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor stock levels and proactively identify purchasing requirements. Data entry and product maintenance including code creation. Maintain and build effective relationships with suppliers. Administrative support for the Purchasing Manager as required. Raise Purchase Orders as required. Liaise with suppliers as required to track orders and monitor lead times. About You Obtains previous experience in procurement or supply chain preferably in the food service industry. Is a reliable, positive team player with a can‑do attitude. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and pays close attention to detail. Is well‑organised and communicates effectively. Can handle flexibility, adaptability, and multitasking in a dynamic workplace. Demonstrates strong time‑management skills, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines. Understands the importance of excellent customer service. Proficient in Office Suite (Word, Excel) and a willingness to learn our operating system. Brings solid mathematical skills and a knack for problem‑solving.
