Role Overview As a Junior DevOps Engineer at CORTO , you will design, build, and maintain robust and scalable infrastructure across multiple AWS regions, supporting multiple development and quality engineering teams. Responsibilities Build & Deploy AWS resources using CloudFormation templates & CI/CD pipelines, including but not limited to: Compute (ECS, EC2) Storage (S3) Databases (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB) Pipelines (CodePipeline) Networking (VPC, Security Groups, AWS WAF) Collaboration Work closely with the team, developers, and quality engineers to support a culture of DevOps collaboration and knowledge sharing. Troubleshoot application issues and integrate third‑party tools such as: Atlassian Product Suite (JIRA, Bitbucket, OpsGenie) CrowdStrike Security Snyk Code Scanning Monitoring and Alerting Utilise monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure system health and rapid issue resolution. Participate in out‑of‑hours on‑call rostering (weekly rotation). Documentation Maintain clear and up‑to‑date documentation of AWS infrastructure, procedures, and best practices. Requirements Foundational knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP). Basic proficiency in a scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Basic understanding of database management is desirable. Strong communication and troubleshooting skills. Experience with distributed source control tools. Some experience on cloud platforms. Work history in a technical role such as Platform Engineer, Support Engineer, IT, or DBA. AWS Cloud Certification is desirable.
