For more information on Paddy Pallin, visit Our History Role Overview: As a Retail – Gear Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, gear consultation and driving sales. You will engage with customers to understand their needs, offer tailored advice, and ensure they have a memorable shopping experience. You will also contribute to maintaining store presentation and adhering to company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: · Customer Engagement: Warmly acknowledge, greet and guide customers towards the best solution for their needs - enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring the right gear is chosen for comfort, safety, and performance. · Sales Performance: Achieve store sales targets through effective service and selling techniques. · Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and brands to offer quality consultation. · Store Presentation: Ensure the store is well presented, clean, and stocked. · Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals. · Policy Adherence: Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to transactions, customer service, and safety. Qualifications: · Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required. · Passion: A genuine passion for outdoor activities and gear. · Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. · Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. · Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
