Overview Occupational Therapist role at Alexandra District Health . 0.4 EFT (16 hours per week) - negotiable. Permanent Part Time. ADH is the major health service within the Shire of Murrindindi, providing medical and surgical care in a wide range of specialties, as well as multiple Primary Health programs. You will work both as an independent clinician and within a supportive multi-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate adult OT services for the Murrindindi Shire; the role includes work with community clients and inpatients at ADH’s acute facility within the catchment area. Tasks include home modification, equipment prescription and rehabilitation in the community. Responsibilities Plan, implement and evaluate adult occupational therapy services for residents of the Murrindindi Shire. Deliver services to both community clients and inpatients at ADH’s acute facility; include home modification, equipment prescription and rehabilitation in the community. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and work as an independent clinician when appropriate. Qualifications Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board Australia via AHPRA. Current Driver’s license. Flexible approach to working and a passion for supporting wellness and reablement in the community. Flexible days and hours available if required.
