Reporting directly to the Residential Manager, you will be delivering pastoral care services for our residents and clients, ensuring they have choice in maintaining their cultural and spiritual wellbeing. About The Role Providing personal spiritual support and pastoral care services to residents and clients in line with their preferences and Catholic Healthcare’s Mission Supporting mission formation activities for employees within the residential aged care home Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures To be successful in this role you’ll need Cert III or Cert IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality Strong knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith, particularly as it relates to the dignity of life and aged care Commitment to supporting the pastoral/spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance What we can offer you Competitive hourly pay rate Not-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less tax Fitness Passport discounted gym benefits Paid Parental leave Long Service leave after 5 years Additional week of leave for Enterprise Agreement shift workers 40+ Locations across NSW and QLD if you choose to move A values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industry Hospitals and Health Care Catholic Healthcare acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and dream.
