Quality Assessor

Our client is a market leader in the poultry processing industry that provides the freshest, top-quality poultry products Australia wide. They are currently looking for a motivated individual to join their Quality team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and driven individual to join our Food Safety & Quality team as a Food Safety Assessor based at our Geelong site. This casual role is essential in supporting the Food Safety & Quality function across day-to-day activities as well as in upcoming projects. In this position, you will work closely with an experienced team who are committed to Food Safety and Quality. This is an excellent opportunity to gain additional hands-on experience in Food Safety and Quality, contribute to the site’s quality and food safety goals, and be part of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities Support the product assessment and review program (cuttings) Assist in daily animal welfare monitoring Support the site in GMP and verification activities daily, corrective actions and follow-ups. Data entry, documentation review, document filing. Support FSQ Coordinator’s in customer sample requests, projects and quality investigations. Assist in sample collections and management of the microbiological sample database Assist in upcoming projects ( data collection, sample collection, data review) What we're looking for Energetic can-do attitude – if you’re willing to learn QA, we’re willing to teach and support Time flexible – this role requires flexible start times pending site operational requirements. (Afternoon shift candidates are encouraged to apply). There is some weekend work as required Experience in GMP, food manufacturing or quality management systems would be highly regarded but not essential.
