We are now seeking a Finance Controller — a strategic and experienced finance professional — to lead financial planning, compliance, and performance across our growing multi-entity group.. The Role As the Finance Controller, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing all financial operations across People First Healthcare and its affiliated entities. This position is responsible for ensuring strong financial governance through effective compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management frameworks. You will work closely with the executive leadership team to drive financial efficiency, support strategic decision-making, and ensure long-term sustainability. Leading a capable and motivated finance team, you’ll champion best practices in reporting, analysis, and operational finance to enable growth and continuous improvement across the group. What We Offer Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Discounts on retail and homeware A supportive and inclusive workplace culture Career development and growth opportunities The chance to make a genuine impact across multiple businesses Key Responsibilities Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Deliver timely, accurate financial statements and compliance reporting Develop and implement financial policies, internal controls, and risk management strategies Manage audits and liaise with external/internal auditors Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, procurement, and asset management Monitor and optimise cash flow, ensuring liquidity for operations Provide insights through data analysis, dashboards, and financial modelling Partner with senior leadership to guide strategic and operational decisions Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering excellence and accountability What You Bring Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA desirable) CPA, CFA, or CMA qualification highly regarded Experience in financial management or Similar role with proven leadership skills Experience in Aged Care or NDIS sectors preferred Strong knowledge of accounting standards, compliance, and audit requirements Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Additional Requirements Full working rights in Australia National Police Check (within last 3 months) or willingness to obtain Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) Minimum two doses of COVID-19 vaccination How to Apply If you’re ready to step into a Finance Controller role where your expertise will shape financial excellence across multiple businesses, we’d love to hear from you.
