Wind Farm Field Service Technician

Overview Wind Farm Field Service Technician (Multiple Locations) – location-based, not FIFO. You will be based locally and join Field Service teams across multiple wind farm locations around Australia, starting in early 2026. As a Field Service Technician with GE Vernova, you’ll be working at the forefront of renewable energy, maintaining and troubleshooting wind turbines at sites in Australia. You’ll be climbing turbines, solving technical challenges, and helping keep wind power turning. We are currently looking for team members at the following wind farms: Ararat Wind Farm, VIC Bango Wind Farm, NSW Boco Rock Wind Farm, NSW Bodangora Wind Farm, NSW Coopers Gap Wind Farm, QLD Crookwell Wind Farm, NSW Crudine Ridge Wind Farm, NSW Silverton Wind Farm, NSW Responsibilities • Maintain and troubleshoot wind turbines at assigned sites. • Climb turbines and work safely in the field. • Collaborate with team members to solve real-world technical challenges. • Ensure safe and reliable operation of wind turbine technology. About You / Qualifications Qualified Electricians and Mechanics Strong problem solvers who thrive under pressure Team players who value safety, respect and collaboration Comfort with heights; you’ll be climbing turbines and should have a head for heights If you hold a recognised electrical or mechanical qualification, you will receive specialist training to work safely and effectively on wind turbine technology, with structured onboarding, technical training, and ongoing development.
