Allied Health Clinician, Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services, Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service, Queensland Health An exciting opportunity currently exists for you to join the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services as an Allied Health Clinician. To participate as a member of the multidisciplinary Cairns Child and Youth Mental Health Service in the delivery of clinical services, including assessment, treatment and case management to children and youth presenting with severe and complex behavioural and emotional difficulties and mental health disorders. About your opportunity: Work Collaboratively with Indigenous Mental Health Workers to support first nations consumers. Provide effective and efficient clinical care and work in collaboration with Clinical Lead/Consultant Psychiatrist and Cluster Operational Manager, to ensure safe standards of care. Deliver a range of clinical and psychosocial interventions including specialist discipline-specific therapies, counselling, psycho education, additional therapeutic investigations, and provision of direct strategic support and assistance to children and youth to achieve their goals. Work with families and client's communities to promote recovery and community inclusion and to access generic supports, opportunities and resources.
