CANBERRA SAND & GRAVEL RIGID TRUCK DRIVER Canberra Sand & Gravel operates landscape centres at Hume, Mitchell and Parkwood as well as a production facility in Fyshwick. We are seeking a competent driver to join our successful team. The position potentially involves driving a variety of different types of trucks to deliver our products within the ACT and surrounding region. We are looking primarily for MR and HR tipper drivers, but also have some opportunities in Truck and Dog combinations if you have the correct licence and experience. You will be required to work 5 days per week with some Saturdays if available. Weekend Saturday work in our MR trucks available on a casual basis. Our drivers are home every night and we do not do any night work. If you live near Bungendore or Braidwood and driving a Truck and Dog, we can park the truck there to save driving into Canberra with your vehicle. We are an established, stable and reputable company with some valued employees who have accumulated over 30 years of service. We are looking for a driver who is fit and healthy, reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic. Good people skills when dealing with our customers is an important aspect of the role.
