Would you like to give back to the profession in the way of training / education and support of trainee doctors and GPs? An exciting opportunity exists for a GP Medical Educator to work in the Broken Hill GP Super Clinic. This position includes: High remuneration package Accommodation support Working with enthusiastic team of GPs, nurses and allied health professionals 1-3 year contract Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine Clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of the broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions Demonstrated highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with experience in relating to a range of stakeholders Good organisational skills, time management and adaptability Demonstrated high level of initiative, conceptual and analytical thinking Demonstrated high level of attention to detail Work effectively within a team environment and the ability to work independently Prior experience in GP education training is desired but not essential as training packages / opportunities exist. About Us: The Broken Hill General Practice Super Clinic (BHGPSC) is a fully accredited facility offering multidisciplinary, patient focused care and services. BHGPSC provides a wide range of patient services at one convenient location, allowing for more effective communication among doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to offer a holistic approach to patient care. Friendly and collegial work environment with a team of other GPs and GP Supervisors that will continue to support your growth. BHGPSC is committed to train GPs, PGY1 and PGY2 under various programs and in the last 8 years has trained 26 GP Registrars and supported 24 medical students for extended skills rotations; as well as facilitating clinical placements for nursing, allied health and pharmacy students. The practice incorporates 22 consulting rooms, onsite well-equipped gym, onsite pharmacy and radiology.
