Job Title Solution Architect (Java / AWS) Location & Working Arrangement Sydney CBD, hybrid working – 3 days per week on site – 24 month fixed term. Base pay range A$160,000.00/yr – A$200,000.00/yr Job Description Our client is a global FinTech with a market‑leading superannuation administration platform. We are looking for a senior Java Software Engineer who can create RESTful solutions for clients as well as developing microservices to support the overall architecture solutions for clients in the superannuation industry. Key Responsibilities Design and develop RESTful web services and microservices using Java/J2EE. Build and maintain the platform’s technical architecture, including integration with external systems (JMS, SOAP). Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions. Ensure code quality through continuous integration and automated testing. Required Skill‑Set Proficient in Java 8/11, Spring Boot, Hibernate. Experience developing RESTful services and microservices. Knowledge of React JS, J2EE, JMS, SOAP, Elasticsearch, Docker, PostgreSQL. Familiarity with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker in an Azure environment. Experience with Agile development practices. Prior superannuation payments platform experience and familiarity with Super Funds, Fund Administrators, Life Insurers, or Payroll solution providers is a plus.
